We conducted demographic research required by the NCUA before receiving preliminary approval, followed by an extensive membership survey and 19 page analysis.

In addition to the mentor credit union, our team consists of entrepreneurs, accountants, attorneys,  and retired credit union employees. We are also working with the Tennessee Credit Union League (TCUL), the trade association for 134 Tennessee credit unions, and Inclusiv, a national credit union association with 450+ credit union members. .

We need credit union advocates to:

  1. Help drive awareness about the credit union difference.
  2. Help recruit donors to help us reach our goal of $600,000.
  3. Help support financially through a capital donation commitment.
  4. Help support the need for financially healthier Mid-Southners.

We believe that the Fair Break Federal Credit Union can truly make an impact on the financial health of member-citizens and their communities.
